Lawyer speak on not refilling store bought 1lb propane bottles. The confusion added when they say its illegal to transport, but then how do you get home with it or go camping with it if you have to drive there? Who can tell you refilled the 1lb tank?
The law is speaks to those who transport a one time use propane container that was refilled. Regarding who can tell, there are lots of videos of people refilling containers that are not refillable and they are showing this online. Somebody in law enforcement could review that video and then catch one of those people transporting the containers. We cannot speak too much to this since we are not in law-enforcement. We just know that it is a risky thing to do. We talk about the specific laws in the link below. greyscale.zone/flame-king-refillable-tank.html
It's heavy yet it's made out off aluminum. Drop that thing and it'll crack unlike the one made of steel.
@@LeftOverMacNCheese Definitely be sure not to drop any gas canisters. I wonder if they have a liner inside of it?
Unfortunately between moving houses ive lost the mulching plug in and it seems to be impossible to find another online. What are your thoughts on using the mower without the plug? Or do you have any suggestions where i can find a replacement plug? Please anyone that sees this and has an idea or a link let me know. I dont want to buy a new mower just for mulching

I’m new to this style of burners and fuels, if you use isobutane with a burner to cook, can you also use butane, and/Lp gas?
@@mommat4750 you can use butane and isobutane.
So, you transfer the contents of a throw-away butane canister to a heavier reusable canister -- and then throw away the first canister. I'm having a problem seeing the advantage.
@@Sirrehpotsirch you can fill it from much larger butane canisters. Another option is to fill it from portable stove canisters that are much less expensive. This type of heavier tank is used for the small camping stoves that screw directly on top of the butane canister . The final option is to consolidate multiple partially filled tank canisters into this one. The point is that this destination canister is much stronger.
I think only 1 burner works
Are there any covers that anyone has found that you can cook on?

WOW, I i just looked up 9 mile canyon. I have never been. But you would never guess that my senior year of high school was spent at Union High in Roosevelt. My Dad was chief of police on the Uintah rez for two years. Wow.
@@chrisrasku2261 it was a beautiful place. It was nice to back here.
Nice. My step father is full Pomo native. He was the chief of police on the Hopi rez from 86' to 89' so ofcourse I lived their. I went to high school at Hopi High. It was the first year of the new high school. My freshman through junior years were spent there. There were some really good times. A Hopifamily adopted us into their clan (Road Runner). We went through ceremonies with them and they brought us to some ancient ruins near by. We lived in Keams Canyon. I went on many hiking adventures. Many Strange things happened to me that made me believe in Native Lore. I sure do miss those times even though it was really hard being one of 6 white kids in the entire high school.

I hope you had a great visit.

Thank you.
Sir does claypot works on them please suggest
@@sheenajoseph9317 the induction stove only works with metal containing steel.
Just wondering, would the 1L bottles work, or do they end up being too tall with the adapter?
@@tfraley We have never tried them.
I have reused my canisters many many many many times without ever having any problems...the satisfaction of not needing to buy more crap for me outweighs the benefit of a heavier and more expensive thing....that refillable canister is way too heavy vs its benefit of being more durable. Iv been using the same small iso can for 3 seasons and its totally fine...when it shows signs of wear on the threads ect its extremely easy and cheap to replace + comes full.
Interesting point. Stay safe and thank you for your comments. I totally understand your point.
I believe the issue is not the threads, so much as water getting in the canister, causing it to rust and weaken its structure, leading to a rupture.
@@Mat-kr1nf How would the canister hold pressured gas if water could get inside?
I believe they have big sheets of silicone that cover the entire induction cooktop. Easier to keep clean. You just wipe it clean.
If they are translucent enough to see where you put the pans, then it would be very helpful! Thanks for commenting.
As of 7-17-2024 they are back in stock on Amazon. I have a few of the small 35g containers, but going on a cross country trip on the Harley, so its back just in time.
This is awesome. They go pretty quickly. Enjoy!
Cool mower! And powerful!
Sure is!
I have heard the heat warps pans. Does the silicone mats prevent that? Did you buy an extended warranty?
@@cavy95 so far no warping. The pads have no impact on that. Warping could be caused by a sudden change such as washing a hot pan cold water. That is a quick change in temperature is hard to accomplish from room temperature to extreme hot. We are using heavy iron, skillets, and enameled pans. We do have one pan with a steel bottom to it, and it has been used to rapidly boil water. I guess it is possible with a very thin inexpensive pan, but we do not use those since it is easy to burn food.
@@Linus007 ok, Lowe’s here in the US is selling a Samsung floor model for 50% off, and I am thinking about buying it, but I am afraid of repair costs and re-learning how to cook.
I clicked on the link for the adapter but Amazon says it is unavailable.
@@susanschindler222 I am sorry to hear that. I just checked online and saw that it is not available too. There is another one that is available that it is very similar that has a seal. The most important part is make sure that you find the part with a seal. There are others that do not have that seal and the adapter leaks.

Can you set the temperature right down to the specific degree that you want with this range
No. The stove is like others 1-9 with 10 being super hot.
Great for Menopause Hot flashes! Yes
Definitely so. We will have a video very soon.
Quinn, Contact email please. Thanks. Send via same method.
I'm pretty sure some models have a high temperature detection and turn it off automatically. Due to the silicon pad, that temperature reading will not work if yours have this safety feature
I have not tested this theory on the bare stove. Good point.
Hey, whats the wattage of the cooker? Thanks in advance
3800 watts. Thank you for watching.
One amazing thing about this: Filling from the disposable butane cylinder: It works! I just got one of these and struggled to fill it through the adapter/valve thing I already had. The manual says you can just push the disposable cylinder probe into the refillable cylinder valve... (how many products have claimed this before?!!??) and it worked instantly! I could hear the butane flowing in there, there wasn't any leakage I could see, or enough to care about. I got the 35 gr into a cold cylinder easily. I have been fooling around with things like this for YEARS, basically b/c I buy the tall disposable Butane cans by the case and it's so much cheaper, and also it's sitting around. Frankly by this time a number of camp stoves that work from the disposable tall cylinders (I don't have a name for them. They're all from Korea, can we say "Korean Cylinders"? "Iwatani type"? ) that I don't NEED to go this path any more, but some of the miniature camping type burners are so cute, little Titanium things! And of course they have accumulated. I find there are situations where you want a little stove, but just for a few minutes! So I would say these little machined Butane bottles are a dream product. Now what do I do with all the stuff I already accumulated?
We are pleased that you enjoy this butane tank. I noticed that as well with the refill capability. I found that those butane refills work well with this tank in addition to using an adapter with the butane stove tank that you are talking about.
Great review, however, the amazon link takes me to an older model not the one with a timer. Went to their website and cannot find that one you have there.
It looks like they changed their product to remove the timer. I found a similar product on Amazon that has the timer. as an Amazon affiliate, I earn commissions qualified purchases. Here is the link below: amzn.to/3QmcvWO
Planned to buy but...then i saw the rating on stores Thanks but no
Make sure you are looking at the one with the seal in it. There are others that are identical that do not have the seal and they leak all over the place. We put the exact link in the description. Our adapter works fine.
@@Linus007 seal isnt the issue according for most reviews online (not your site) the common issue cited is bottle getting stuck in saturator
